Questions

Before you sign up

I have never played in a tournament. Should I come?
Yes. Beginners and first-time tournament goers are highly encouraged to attend.
What is a hanchan?
A half game, East and South rounds. There are four of them across the day, each in a 90 minute window.
What happens if I am on the waitlist?
This is where we could put the waitlist policy, like when waitlisted players hear whether a seat opened up.
Do I need to bring my own set?
No. Lending equipment helps the prize pool, but it is not required to play.
Can I come and watch?
This is where we could put the spectator policy, and whether free play in the evening is open to everyone.
